Why choose a Celebrant?

Congratulations, you're getting married! Planning a wedding can be overwhelming. There are so many options when it comes to venues, flowers, dresses, rings etc. But one of the most important parts of your day, is the Ceremony itself.

There are many different types of Wedding Ceremony and Celebrant that you can choose from in Ireland. You can have a Civil Ceremony with a HSE Registrar, a Humanist ceremony with a Humanist Celebrant or a Spiritual Ceremony with a Spiritualist Celebrant, or opt for a traditional Church wedding.

But if you want to have complete control over all aspects of the ceremony, one where you are not bound by any restrictions imposed by the State or other groups, where you are free to include religious beliefs or any faith path, or none, your choice, then that’s where I come in. As a registered solemniser with Entheos Ireland I can conduct a fully legal ceremony for you, 7 days a week.

A Wedding Celebrant can conduct your ceremony in any location you desire (providing it has a known address and is open to the public) on any day of the week and at any time. The possibilities are endless! When you choose me as your Celebrant I will write and perform a beautiful personal ceremony created just for you, created with your ideas and personalities in mind.

In Ireland, we have so many beautiful locations and venues, some of those venues have old castles, beaches, and beautiful outdoor ceremony spaces and gardens, where you can make your dream ceremony a reality! When you choose a Celebrant for your Wedding Ceremony you can even choose a private location for your ceremony. So if you have ever dreamed of getting married at your own home, in your garden, this is possible with a Celebrant led ceremony. (Please be advised a ceremony in a private location such as your own home or garden would be a non-legal ceremony)

You are unique, so why choose to have the same ceremony as everyone else. Open your mind to the endless possibilities that are available to you when you choose a Celebrant for your Wedding Ceremony.

I am based in County Wexford but I travel all over Ireland, all 32 counties, to conduct beautiful ceremonies.

Ireland is such a beautiful, special country. Plan the wedding of your dreams with a Celebrant and you will have a Wedding day that you will remember forever!

Below are my TOP 10 reasons for choosing a celebrant for your wedding

  1. You can have your Ceremony in any venue you choose.

  2. You can have your Ceremony at any time you want, 7 days a week.

  3. You can write your own vows - have fun with this!

  4. You can include Religious elements if you want to or any faiths or beliefs you may have.

  5. You can include your family, friends, children and even Pets in your ceremony - always dreamt of having your fur-baby as your ring bearer?

  6. You can incorporate Ceremony Enhancements such as a traditional Handfasting, a Sand Ceremony, a Unity Candle Ceremony or a Ring Warming

  7. You can have your Ceremony outdoors or even in the comfort of your own home (non legal)

  8. You can make your ceremony as unique and personal as you like - you can have any songs, readings or poems you love.

  9. The wording of your ceremony is up to you, it can be traditional, informal, modern, fun, you choose! You are not restricted here

  10. You can really get to know your Celebrant - There is plenty of time to build a relationship with your Celebrant and get to know them as a person. Your celebrant will work closely with you right from your initial consultation until the day of your wedding so by the time your special day comes you will feel like old friends
